This one is geared more toward Educators. Computers and English for Speakers of Other Languages --How appropriate! Discovery Education --This site is supported by the Discovery channel. British Council--Teaching English --A HIGHLY reputable organization. If you can get to a British Council you should check out the FREE hardcopy resources they have available. This is a wonderful organization. Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab --Great resource for audio recordings of English speaking people. Exploding Dog --This is the most amazing site. It is a a great resource for images. You can send the artist titles and he will draw pictures to match them. Idiom Site --This site is great for teaching relaxed English vernacular. Learning Page --This is a great site. It has loads of cool stories and ideas. Phonics World --The ever dreaded phonics! This site is useful, but could do with a design upgrade in my opinion. Phonics Rules (Ed Sanders) --Oh no! More phonics! Lanternfish (Boggle's World) --This site is useful, but you have to weed through quite a bit before you get to what you are looking for. Web English Teacher (ESOL) --A nice site for getting ideas and materials.
